Accolade: Fanfare for the Fiftieth

This vivid fanfare features rousing brass motives, dynamic woodwind flourishes and exciting percussion. The piece is focused around Eb major with modal harmonies throughout. I wrote this piece as a dedication to my high school alma mater and for my former high school band director, Clinton Marshall, for whom I owe my passion for music and music education.

A Golden Fanfare was commissioned by the Perry Hall High School Music Department. This piece commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of the school’s opening.
